Barry Ross

Barry Ross is one of Southern California’s premier real estate and business attorneys, educators and mediators. Barry has run a thriving, local real estate law practice for over 32 years. A graduate of the University of Southern California and Southwestern University School of Law, Barry earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence and his M.B.A. in Accounting and Finance simultaneously.

Barry has served as Superior Court Judge Pro Tem, California Association of Realtors^® Legal Services Panel Referral Attorney and Regional Chairman, and President of the Glendale Association of Realtors^®, of which he is still a Realtor^®-Member. He is also an affiliate member of the San Fernando Valley, Pasadena and Burbank Associations of Realtors^®, a member of the Glendale, Burbank and Los Angeles County Bar Associations, and is an adjunct professor of law as well as a sought-after real estate instructor.

Along with his wife, Candy Peak, Realtor^®, Barry co-authored the national Certified Condominium Specialist^® Course: A Professional Real Estate Agent’s Guide to Successfully Listing and Selling Common Interest Developments (CID). Barry is also one of California’s most outstanding mediators. He has recently been invited to be permanently featured on the prestigious panel of the California Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, an organization whose inclusion is by invitation only, and offers the services of top mediators and arbitrators. One leading Southern California law firm who frequently uses Barry’s mediation services said recently of Barry: “There are two classes of mediators, Barry Ross and then there is everyone else!”

A native of Glendale, California, Barry has held a real estate broker’s license for 35 years and has owned and managed several real estate brokerages, property management companies, and has organized successful real estate syndications of investment properties.

Barry is an affiliate member and sponsor of the Women’s Council of Realtors^®, as well as a published author, and a newspaper and online columnist for the Los Angeles Times.

Barry also owns The Estate Planning Center^SM and along with his legal practice, Barry assists his many real estate and business clients in providing smart legal solutions, resolving disputes and properly protecting their assets. His long and prestigious list of clients consist of local buyers, sellers, REALTORS^®, real estate brokerages, insurance companies, attorneys, and local business owners and community members.

Candy began her real estate career working in her family's real estate business as a teenager in 1969. Her mother and mentor,  Vivian Peak, was one of her state's top Realtors^® and very well-loved by her clientele, often selling 2 or 3 homes a day. Candy and her sister Pamela followed in their mother's successful footsteps forming the high-profile "PEAK FAMILY HOME-SELLING TEAM," selling residential and investment properties for over 30 years.
